BRITO.RODRIGUEZ is an international atelier led by partners Inês Martins de Brito (Portugal) and Gilberto “Gil” Rodriguez (Texas), both registered architects in Portugal. It was established in Lisbon, Portugal (2008) and is now open in Texas, bringing together a team united by shared design sensibilities and a commitment to thoughtful, context-driven projects.
.
We are an atelier working across Portugal and Texas — rooted in place, cultural nuance, and site-sensitive design.
We design grounded, thoughtful projects guided by place, shaped by concept, built with intention, and delivered with personal care and cultural depth.
We follow serenity, beauty of simplicity, and the ambience of place. We craft spaces that feel honest — quietly intimate, deeply rooted.
Whether restoring a forgotten farmhouse, designing a home for slow living, or shaping spaces for culture and hospitality, we approach each project as a conversation — between past and present.
In a noisy world, we design for clarity, tranquility and silence…
